The Ukrainian sea corridor created by the Ukrainian Navy since August 2023 has ensured the export of almost 20 million tonnes of products, including 14.3 million tonnes of agricultural products, the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine said, citing Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
“During the six months of operation of the Ukrainian corridor, 661 ships exported more than 20 million tonnes of cargo from the ports of Big Odesa to 32 countries,” the ministry said on Facebook on Saturday.
In January, 6.3 million tonnes were exported from the ports of Big Odessa, which is almost equal to the pre-war level, it said.
Another 104 ships are expected to arrive for the transportation of more than 3 million tonnes of cargo.
