Russia strengthening border with Ukraine with FSB border guards – GUR

In the Russian Federation, detachments are being formed from among the personnel of the FSB border service units in order to strengthen border fortification, the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.

“The formed units are planned to be located on the border areas in Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions. The relevant intentions of the aggressor state are evidenced by an intercepted telephone conversation dated January 25, 2024 between two Russian invaders who serve in the territory of occupied Abkhazia,” the Telegram channel says.

As GUR said, in the dialogue between the personnel officer of the Sukhumi border detachment, Captain Yusibov and ensign Zimskov, who serves at the border outpost of the city of Ochamchire, it is said about the formation of lists for sending to the Russian-Ukrainian border “on a permanent basis.”

“We live one day at a time, no one has any prospects,” stated FSB border guard Colonel Yusibov.
