Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers have subjected more than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions to artillery and mortar shelling.
As reported in the operational information on the Russian invasion as of 18.00 Wednesday on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, the cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Vuhledar of Donetsk region, Kherson came under fire.
The occupiers also carried out a number of air and missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, and also carried out a number of attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and Ukrainian settlements from multiple launch rocket systems. “As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population. Residential private and apartment buildings and other civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Lviv regions were destroyed and damaged,” the General Staff said.
The enemy carried out air strikes in the area of Yablunivka in Sumy region, Tabaiivka in Kharkiv region, Oleksandropole, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka and Staromayorsk in Donetsk region, Novodarivka in Zaporizhia region. The occupiers also fired at the areas of Kherson and Chornobaivka in Kherson region using multiple launch rocket systems.
