As of the evening of October 5, out of 51 people killed as a result of a missile strike on the village of Hroza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, 35 people were identified, deputy head of the National Police Main Directorate in the region, head of the investigation department Serhiy Bolvinov said.
“Only 35 people have been identified so far. All the rest have been taken to the morgue; DNA analysis will have to be carried out for identification. Six more people are now in the hospital, miraculously survived and are receiving medical care,” Bolvinov said on his Facebook page.
He also said that law enforcement officers seized the remains of a missile (presumably Iskander), and also noted that the strike was targeted.
“Currently, investigators and operatives are looking for the gunners. Searches are ongoing. Work at the site of the hit continues. I do not rule out that the number of victims may be greater,” Bolvinov said.
